Scholars of the Riverside - Bricklink LEGO 910048
The Riverside Scholars is another set from my original theme called The Mountain Windmill Series. The theme came about while writing a story for my sons. I have been overwhelmed by the support you have shown for this series – it is incredible and I am truly grateful for it. The Mountain Windmill was released as part of the BrickLink Invitational and Ocean House is a finalist in the second series, which is set to enter the crowdfunding phase next year.
I am so excited to bring the third set in the series – The Riverside Scholars – to the BrickLink Designer Program!

They lived in a flimsy structure that stretched out on either side of the waterfall. The building looked old and tired, and the boy knew that it hid many secrets within its weathered walls.
The waterfall was a peaceful place full of nature. The boy often went there to pick mushrooms, listen to the teachings of scholars, or just go fishing.
He could imagine himself living here – among scholars. He was fascinated by all they could teach him, and he imagined that when he grew up, he too might dedicate his life to the pursuit of knowledge. He admired them. They were disciplined but friendly, and so he spent a lot of time here. Yet, even to the scholars themselves, with all their wisdom, the mountain windmill remained a mystery...
